Din-Tek is closely following the implementation of the European Union’s (EU) Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH). Din-Tek’s current position concerning the application of REACH to its products and operations is as follows:

• Din-Tek is a supplier of analog integrated circuits, which are “articles” as defined in Article 3(3) of REACH. Din-Tek ’s products do not contain substances intended to be released under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use. Therefore, no substances contained in Din-Tek ’s products require pre-registration or registration under Article 7(1) of REACH.
• Any substance on the list for authorization, “substance of very high concern” (SVHC) contained in articles may require notification to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). The SVHC list has been published by ECHA. Based on the criteria set out in Article 57 of REACH, Din-Tek certifies that its products do not contain SVHC’s above 0.1% w/w. Additionally, Din-Tek believes that exposure to humans or the environment can be excluded during reasonably foreseeable conditions of use including disposal and that Article 7(3) of REACH will apply to Din-Tek products if they do contain an SVHC.
